I've tied up a handful of lightning bugs. Eager to try them on the Guad. This one is a 14.

Very nice flies and photos. Those flies will work well on the Guad. Use either one as a lead fly and add a small, dark midge behind and fish the dark green water.

For sure. I'm shooting on black plexiglass with a ringflash and a micro lens, and I drop a white card in the background to lighten the top. Beyond that, it's five years of school and ten years of shooting experience. :mrgreen:

Oh yeah, and a rare earth magnet under the plexiglass to make it stand up.
