Cans in the river

Post by jam1964 » Thu Nov 20, 2014 1:34 am

Shwan and I fished the river yesterday, we caught 5 each and I filled two bags with cans in one spot. if all of us would take a bag each time, we could put a dent in the amount of trash.

Guadalupe River, location not really important since there is trash all up and down any river, lake, stream, each time you go fishing we all should do our part in cleaning up the water by hauling out what you can.

WORD, Water Oriented Recreation District of Comal County http://wordcc.com/ Office will hand out river trash bags by the arm loads to anyone who ask for them. Physical Address: 1928 FM 2673 Canyon Lake, TX 78133

I agree. Since you posted on the warmwater board, I assume that you're talking about the upper Guad. Some crossings have historically been more prone to trash than others, so people might be alerted to these so they can go there equipped with trash bags.
