Alex, that canard should be updated to "which came first, the fly or the rod?"

Alex - Eggs pre-date chickens by about 230 million years.

Jimbo - Why on earth are you sleeping with a torque wrench?

Anyone have any luck getting their hands on any decent saddles these days?
Come to find out there is a fashion "underground" my wife told me about!
I cant find them anywhere, and I think this fashion stupidity is driving the prices up for poor fly fishermen like me!

I'm totally serious!!

Did you just find out about this? Hope not, that happened over a year ago!
It's just a fad, like all of them, it will fade with time.

I have to admit that I'm not hip to today's female (and male that like to look female) fads.
I had a ton of saddles that I thought I would never need to replce until now - And I cant find any good ones anywhere

Any good fly shop will have or will order what you need.

Which fly shops around San Antonio can order them? I'm having trouble getting them. THe Tackle Box told me they couldn't and so did bass pro.

I suggest checking with Gruene Outfitters and Action Angler, both right near the river
