Euro Nymphing Instruction

Post by Cigarsnjeeps » Sun Nov 26, 2017 4:49 pm

Anybody know anyone local that offers instruction on euro nymphing technique? I bought a rod a month or so ago and want to learn. Im sure i can go out and learn from trial and error and from reading up on it, and i bought a video which is pretty informative, but nothing beats some hand on experience and experience from someone who knows what they are doing. Thanks.

There's a ton of useful information at troutbitten.com. You might also try tacticalflyfisher.com. If you want a DVD, you could do worse than this: http://www.tacticalflyfisher.com/modern ... ance-egan/.

It’s not purely euro style but I would suggest getting a copy of dynamic nymphing by George Daniel. I found a lot of it very useful, you can also checkout some of his video lectures on YouTube.

I realize from your initial post that books and DVD's are not what you were asking about, however since the discussion has drifted into that area, I have a copy of George Daniel's Dynamic Nymphing you are welcome to, free. If you are interested, we can work out transfer details.
