River Clean Up

Post by JWH » Tue Apr 17, 2018 8:24 pm

I just saw on the Facebook page that there is a River Clean up this Saturday.
First, it is kind of late notice. IMHO
Second, I am seeing 100% chance of Thunderstorms.
Third, the New Braunfels Flyfishing Club is doing a Learn To Fly Fish Class at Cypress Bend Park.
And last of all, why isn’t it posted here?

I really want another clean up but this is bad timing.
Thanks
Jerry

First I've heard of it.
Let me talk to the Board and see what's up.

Thanks Jimbo,
I was going to delete this post this AM because I was thinking it was too negative. But, since you have not heard anything I thought I would see what you found out.
FYI the New Braunfels Fly Fishers canceled their class due to possibly dangerous weather conditions.

You know we only plan all these things to help with the beating of the rain drums! :)

It's on rain or shine.

Ron will be there with everything you'll need.
He will assign beats and be there for the trash collection.
I would suggest that you come with some rain gear too.

I know it was short notice and the weather was sketchy.
I want to thank those who did attend and pick up what others left behind.
You are the heroes and we celebrate your work !!!
