Since it's a long story, I posted the link to the story.
Ian James calls me the guy who killed the cat's whisker. (He makes Jimbo look staid.)

there were photos in the newsletter and I can forward them if you'd like. (guess I could post them here, as well).

If I'm tying these for trout, I leave off the marabou on the tail (the Krystal flash is still there), and will either tie bead chain on the inside of the hook (Ian's version), or simply use a tungsten bead head. Either one will keel the hook down, protecting the vital artery in the trout.
