Hello everyone and Merry Christmas
MY son and I went pheasant hunting yesterday, we did very well we bagged 5 birds. Actually we shot 8 but lost three in the tall grass, I hate to loose a good bird, but back to the topic. I have a bunch of feathers off of those five pheasant all in real good shape, if ant one wants some just let me know. I am going to keep a few for myself, but I realy have to many. Contact me and let me know if you want some of them.

Sorry fellas, the post about the pheasant feathers was from last years (2008) hunt. No feathers this year.

If you can't find a hunter with pheasant tail feathers to offer, the best place I've found for high quality feathers is a quirky place called Moscow Hide and Fur. They have some amazing stuff on their site, including excellent pheasant tail clumps. Here's the URL to that spot on their site:

Wow Mick! Thats a great resource for feathers. Hows the quality?
I've found that Lelands and Feather Craft have some pretty good materials too..

Quality is better than anything I have found in a flyshop. Just gorgeous feathers.
