Hot weather=hot fishing!

Had a great time on the Blanco! Smallmouth, large mouth, Guad's, Cichlid, and a bunch of perch!! Most of them on my hand tied and painted popper!

One of those looks like a Big Guadalupe and or Hybrid. What do you think? Scales below thwe lateral line look right, some faint vertical barring, Did that Bass have a tooth patch on it's tongue?

I think is was a hybrid Jimbo. I didnt look for the tooth patch on the tongue because his big brother had tried to steal the fly from his mouth and all I could do was get a picture and try to cast again!! I had caught some of each on that stretch of the river so I wouldnt doubt that they have crossed.
