I did some scouting at Tejas Camp yesterday. The river is still barren from drying up over the summer and getting scoured by more recent flooding. The water was extremely clear, and the only signs of life I saw were 2 carp half a mile downstream.
The lake has backed up to the first deep section below the campground. The white bass aren't going to have any problem going upstream. Hopefully, this won't concentrate them (and all the fishermen) in a small area.
