Old Trips with Ron

Post by jacofish » Mon Jul 06, 2009 9:25 am

Here are some of the old pics of Rons huge bass, from one of his group fishing trips.

And here are some of Alex with the bass he pulled out so consistently, and on topwater too.

Yeah different fish, and these are only the ones that I got pictures of.

And here are the pics I took from my most recent trip with Ron, at Rebecca's Creek. MY first fish of the day, a suprise catch of a shad I caught on a hot rod fly in a quick channel right by the road.

And a zoomed picture of a snake we saw in the river swimming along as we walked upriver on the bank.

If it wasn't for the fly I was given by Edward I think? then I probably wouldn't have caught any more fish. But here are some of the approximately thirty bass and sunfish I caught with this killer fly.

After all the fish I hauled in I had time for some more photos, here is one of a couple I took for a panoramic.

And here are several of Tony fishing

And my dad

with no fish.

And the hike back to the cars.

Ron certainly knows his fishing spots across the Hill Country.
Thanks for sharing!

Not only does Ron know every inch of every Hill Country river, he is very generous about sharing his spots with others.
