You know I woke up at 2am and about 4am Sunday, then sometime after that the power went out, so the alarm clock didn't go off at 6:30. You'd think I would wake up again before 9:45. Anyway, I caught a monster there last year, so it was your turn. I sure would have liked to watch you battle it though! Those are some beautiful pictures! Congrats! Jimbo

Magnificent fish, Ron. I saw you catch it and fight it, and it was a sight to behold.

they day I caught these guys, we broke 3 or 4 bass between us that were as big as the one above

it looked like a cartoon of a fish

funniest thing - the bass (same one just above) was cruising toward my fly, when the big yellow belly darted out to take it. The bass was striking the 'gill in anger the whole time it was hooked up.
I landed, photographed, and released the yellow belly, threw my fly back in the water, and the bass was sitting there to grab it.

Sorry for the late reply, but I was in southern Colorado last week trying to follow Jimbo's trail ;-)

What a monster! That must have been a real hoot to witness.
