Re: Image Posting Help

Is there a way to sort them, perhaps by year, or are they stored in the order they were added?

Re: Home Water

Both rods are Tim Zietak reproduction Leonard 48 7' 3/2, # 4.

It is a perfect Hill Country rod.

Re: Home Water

This my favorite place on the Llano River. I call it the "Best 25 Yards in Texas".

Matching the hatch on the Guadalupe

That is a Whitlock NearNuff Crawfish with a Fish Skull Helmet head substituted for the dumbbell eyes. Small bass in the picture, you might say, but what you could not see was the big bass that tried to wrestle away the NearNuff Crawfish from the mouth of the small bass. They tussled all of the way t...

Re: Need help identifying insect

There is something wrong with the bass. It is not the camera angle. Notice how big the head is in proportion to the rest of its body. It tapers off. I have seen that before on a bass that came out of a pond and was told it was a sign of malnutrition. I don't believe that now. There is plenty of food...

Re: Lynxhaven Lodge

I fished there maybe 10-15 years ago. Never went back.

Super clear still water, the few fish there are spooky.

Might be a nice place to sleep and eat.

The fishing is much better downstream, but you have to trespass.

Re: Need help identifying insect

I have seen lots of tan or brown, but never yellow. It was like a neon light on th water.

Need help identifying insect

I ran in to this pretty yellow May Fly (I presume) yesterday on the Llano. I have never seen one this yellow. Does anyone know what it is? By the way, fishing was good, water was good. Re: Pic's from Llano River Trip

This was on Thursday, September 30. I have seen hatches like this in this area for 20 years. The shuck trail was still thick a mile downstream. Unfortunately, the hatch took place in some pecan tree limbs overhanging the water in about six inches of water, too shallow to hold fish. It was not a fish...

Bud Priddy's Flyfishing the Hill Country

Today, I came accross my copy that is in pristine condition and was signd by Bud about 16 years ago at one of our club meetings.

Would anyone venture a guess as to what it is worth?

Hi,

I live in Kerrville, and the problem has been solved.

There is a concentration of ducks in the city park, and there was a concentration of duck poop.

Things seem to be back to normal.

Re: Another Sunday Fishing with Ron and the Boys

Hi, Did anyone see any evidence of the 500,000 + Guadalupe Bass that TPWD has stocked over the past four years. Each year thousands of fingerlings are stocked at various crossings on the North and South Forks, and they are thought to grow three inches per year. Theoretically, there should be some tr...
