Re: TPWD Digital Extra Fishing edition

First I tried bleach. Ruined a good pair of boots. 409 sounded good, then http://troutunderground.com/2010/11/think-that-spray-bottle-of-formula-409-protects-your-gear-from-invasives-think-again/ Now I either freeze them or take an extra pair for different drainages. I'm really not too sure who to b...

Re: Devils River Update (long post)

Richard,
Could you tell me who the TPWD rep is on the DRWG? One of my colleagues here at Baylor would like to explore some potential research opportunities.
Thanks,

Re: Proposed Closing of Devils River

With the SNA closing, camping would be relegated to the riverbed as defined by the landowners/sheriff correct? Also, if I understand your post and the article, the area that is now the SNA would go over to the Nature Conservancy. Is that correct? I do see a concern that there would be no public entr...

Re: Alleged Record Breakage

Ron, I kept waiting for a biggun' from you. The bottom lateral lines are really light on your pig in the pic. Were they that light in person? Is there some hybridization in many of the Guads we catch?
Good to hear from you,

Re: NEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BASS ON THE FLY FISHING TOURNAMENT

Hang in there Ted. There must be a market out there. Sage and TFO wouldn't be making those "tourney legal" bass rods if they didn't think they could sell em. Cast a wide net with your PR!
Good luck.

I've also had good success with peacock colored dubbing. Wears like iron. Don't know if the fish can tell the difference or not.

Re: Type of hooks for midges

Can't wait to see pics from Mick. On the original question, I use Dai-Riki 135 hooks for my midges and annelids. Seem strong, sharp, and at $8/100 I don't grieve all the ones I stick in Guad rocks! :P

PM Sending Problem

When I'm logged in and send a PM, it gets stuck in my outbox. Do I have a setting wrong? It worked last year, but not in last three months or so. I'm not aware of changing any settings.
Thanks in advance.
