I have a friend who's going on a canoe / camping trip for 4 days on the buffallo national river in northern Arkansas. I was wondering if any of you have ever fished for smallmouth bass there before? If so, what types of flies work well. He'll be leaving in about 2 weeks. Thanks for the help!
I've caught some good perch and a catfish or two in Brackenridge park on my 3wt. Lots of fun. The part of the river in the park closer to the entrance off of Hildebrand road seems to be better because I don't see as many people fishing it.
