Re: Fly Swap # 2

Ok Im in. Still a "newbie" to this style of fly tying, but having fun with it nonetheless. I have been playing with a stonefly nymph pattern for a few weeks now. I saw it in a book a picked up, and I just had to tie it. I have done about 10 versions, and feel comfortable enough with it now to actual...

Re: Fly Swap!

Thanks, I joined JWK a few weeks ago to fish the guadalupe, we saw trout rising to eat fairly large yellow whatevers... . The fly I tied basically started as an adams variation, using yellows, and materials I had on hand. I used floss, rather than dubbing.

Re: Fly Swap!

Hello all. JWK invited me to tie in his swap, and while tying tiny trout flies isn't exactly what I am accustomed to, I welcomed the challenge and did my best not to embarass myself. Mine was the only dry fly in the swap. Hopefully my submission will find it's way to the business end of your lines a...
