Which fly shops around San Antonio can order them? I'm having trouble getting them. THe Tackle Box told me they couldn't and so did bass pro.

I agree with NechesBobcat, if you think that you are actually going to get into it, get a good one to begin with. it will last longer than you and make the whole experience much more enjoyable.

I got a Regal Medallion series for christmas and it has lasted me 18 years. It is very easy to use and manipulate. They also have lifetime warranties on the jaws.

I normally don't like to go to Bass Pro because it seems that they push what the other stores around the country are pushing and not what is working in this area so when I go there it is usually a means to an end. With that being said I have found one employee in the fly shop to be extremely knowled...

Ant Fly Patterns

I saw this awesome ant pattern on hatches.com. Are ant patterns really that effective? Would it be a good fly to have in my box for fishing in south Texas?
