Thanks for all the info everyone. I haven't been able to get down to the river yet, can't wait to try these rods out. I have a berkley reel with DT6F line, which came with the rods. I'm guessing that would work well with the FF806. I've been on FFR website, lots of good info. I am looking for areel ...

Here are some pictures of the other rod. Did some casting with it in the yard today, felt very good, and accurate. I picked up two Fenwick rods at the yard sale, the one pictured and an FF806. I will post pictures of the FF806 when I get home from work this evening. Both rods are in good shape, hope to get them on the river sometime soon. Thanks for the input Jimbo.

Fenwick fly rod

I came across this Fenwick rod at a yard sale. I have read they are a little tricky to cast.
