GRTU Lease Access Conduct
Rules of Conduct While on GRTU Lease Access Properties
- GRTU Lease Access permit must be worn by the lease members, auxiliary members, junior
associate members, and guests in a visible manner while on GRTU Lease Access property.
- GRTU Lease Access parking permit must be visibly displayed on the dashboard of the lease
members vehicle at all times while vehicle is on GRTU Lease Access property.
- Carry Out What You Carry In. Land owners have to empty trash containers during the
off-season, thus incurring expense. DONT USE THE TRASHCANS - CARRY YOUR TRASH
OUT!
- No picnicking, camping, hunting, fires, or any activity other than fishing access.
Carrying or discharging firearms, excessive noise, overindulgence of alcoholic beverages,
wood cutting, fires, picnicking, or littering are specifically prohibited on GRTU Lease
Access properties.
NOTE: We lost the BK Tubes property after
the 95-96 season due to GRTU members camping, picnicking, over-limit car parking, and use
of the outhouse on the river. We lost the L&L properties due to the failure of a GRTU
Lease Access member to properly supervise junior associate members using the L&L
property. We must do better if we are to retain access at our lease properties. Outhouses
are from older times, and are now outlawed, but GRTU Lease Access members used them,
putting the landowner in legal jeopardy. Picnic waste filled garbage cans that required
emptying - an off-season expense to the landowner. We lease a path to
the river - nothing more! If you want to picnic or use a restroom, drive
somewhere else! If there are already the allowed number of cars at the GRTU Lease Access
property, go elsewhere!
- Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult lease member at all
times.
- No pets are allowed on GRTU Lease Access properties. GRTU Lease Access Program
membership does not include permission for pets!
GRTU LEASE ACCESS PROPERTY IS A PATH TO THE
RIVER THAT YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO USE - NOTHING MORE!
